Select Home Care Services is a home help and companionship service based at 19 Duke Street, Formby, Merseyside, L37 4AN. This policy explains how we handle personal information provided through this website or by telephone, email or WhatsApp.
We collect information you provide directly — your name, telephone number, email address and any details you share about the support you are seeking. Please do not include medical details in the website enquiry form; we will talk through what help is needed when we speak. If you become a client, we record the information needed to arrange and provide your support.
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to arrange, provide and invoice the support we provide. We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone for marketing. With a client’s agreement, we may share updates with named family members.
Like most small businesses, we use service providers to run our website and communicate with you, so your information may be processed by them on our behalf. Our website and its enquiry forms are hosted by Netlify. We reply to enquiries by email (Microsoft Outlook), telephone and WhatsApp. For clients, we keep visit schedules and invoices in a secure online database. We only use these services for the purposes described here.
For enquiries that do not result in a client relationship, we retain your contact details for no longer than 12 months. For clients, we keep records for 6 years after support ends, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then delete them securely.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, and to request its deletion.
